Hello to all FreeHand Fans out there! Sorry it's been so long since my last entry but I have been really busy.

I have used Illustrator and I find it a valuable tool. But one thing: I still use FreeHand!

Why? The number one answer for me is the speed of the program. When I

        11/03/08
        Hey FreeHand Fans,

I'm enjoying Illustrator CS3 and I can't wait to try CS4. I understand a lot of features that FreeHand users love are in the new program (the biggest thing being multiple artboards).

I know making the transition from FreeHand to Illustrator is not e

      • Understanding FreeHand MX
        03/05/07
Someone mentioned, what was the point of the open arrow tool in MX. I don't understand why it's there either. MX could be a great version, but to work comfortably, some users need to set it up in a certain way. For example, I like to use FreeHand with FH9 keyboard shortcuts as MX changed m

      • FreeHand & InDesign..They Work Together!
        02/11/07
I know some people think that FreeHand MX and InDesign don't work well together. That's not the case with me. I have completed numerous projects with both programs together. It's too bad that FreeHand is not a part of CS as I think it would work well with all the other programs in it.

      • FreeHand Tips
        02/11/07
A while ago, a FreeHand user sent me some tips. I thought I would share them with you. If you have some tips for FreeHand users, let me know!

We FreeHand users know why certain projects just have to be done in FreeHand. • Here It Is...My Interview With Adobe!
        10/28/06
I recorded the conversation but the recorder unfortunately cut it off. I had to type this by memory. I spoke with Terry Hemphill, the Senior Marketing Manager of Illustrator and Phil Guindi, the Senior Product Manager of Illustrator at Adobe. They offered a lot of insight, but unfortunately stopped

      • What Are FreeHand's Best Features?
        10/23/06
We all know the paste inside feature is the feature that makes FreeHand superior to Illustrator...but what other features of FreeHand are your favorite? Personally I think the Find & Replace feature can't be beat and I don't know any other program that has this cool feature. I'm s

Some of you may be wondering...why start a FreeHand blog when we don't know exactly what will happen with our favorite program. I am going to attempt to get someone from Adobe's FreeHand team to possibly answer some questions on when the next release will be. I would also like to interview
